"I can't join any games!"
<< Back to main page

1. The host may have incorrect configuration

The most likely problem is that the host you are trying to join has not set up his network properly. Ask someone to try and join the game for you - if they can, then you may have the problem below instead. If they can't, then it's probably a problem at the host's computer, which you can't do anything about. Try joining other games.

2. Outgoing connections on port 17011 may be blocked on your network

In order to join a game you must be able to send information to the host's computer through port 17011. If your 17011 port is blocked, your computer won't be able to communicate with the host and so you won't be able to join the game. Port 17011 might be blocked by a firewall or a router. See this guide and this guide for details on how you can correct the problem.
