The Elite scheme is similar to the default Intermediate scheme and is usually played 1v1. Unlike the Intermediate scheme, however, there is a higher degree of skill and strategy required due to only 20 seconds turn time and stricter weapon limitations. Other noticeable differences include the placing of worms at the start of the game, instant mines, low-powered ropes, no invisibility, no freeze, no worm select and rapid flooding at Sudden Death.
